Warm-up

Technique: 

  • Judo
  • Side control to scarf-hold position: transition; scarf-hold Americana; scarf-hold straight-arm lock; scarf-hold to arm-bar

Roll: 25 minutes - all standup

Scarf-hold techniques were cool and a good alternative from side-control, with lots of submissions. 

We did about 25 minutes of judo.  Rotating in: get thrown (back touches ground) and you’re out.  It was exhausting.  My judo is clearly horrible, so in desperate moments, I turn to wrestling.  This works in some cases, but is terribly exhausting!

Got to work on some proper judo technique.  As I’ve said before - it’s such an important part of bjj!
