A judo throw and some side control work.
Warm-up
Technique: 1) judo throw where you step in front of uke, wrap your arm under his arm, load him on your hip and rotate. (Have to learn the name here!) 2) side control — escape from straight arm lock using your knee;
Roll: 4 x 5 minutes.

Uneventful. Can’t remember much since I’m writing so late. No injuries.
I think I really got the hang of this judo throw for the first time. When you step in, this idea of “replacing uke’s feet with your own” really helped me to get it. Can’t wait to try it live.
So far our instructor has been true to his words of “more judo this quarter. I love it.
